Exploring the history of the county, the hall run by the Anoka County Historical Society has a number of detailed displays. A semi-permanent exhibit, "From Roots to Roofs" traces the history of Anoka County's 21 communities while past ones have included themes such as "Picturing Anoka County", with a huge range of photographs detailing area history, and an exhibit on the impact of the Vietnam War on the region. A sizable research library has documents, newspapers, images and film related to the county's history. The museum is located just two blocks north of East Main Street, the town's primary shopping area.

Open Tue. 10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.; Wed. - Fri. 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.; Sat. 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.; Closed Sun. - Mon.
